Calyptus was formed in 1992 with the purpose of offering training and consulting services to private sector clients. At that time, training initiatives were paramount and many Fortune 500 companies used our services. With the advent of Strategic Sourcing and eProcurement in 1997, private sector work was substantial and foreign clients began to request our services. In the mid to late 1990s, the public sector work in the area of procurement system reviews, whole-scale training, and procurement analysis picked up in the Federal and State Government sector. After 2000, we took on the patina of a worldwide professional service firm, in that we have served clients in almost every business sector and governmental area.
Today, Calyptus has over 132 off-the-shelf training courses, 10 eLearning programs, over 50 value added assessment tools, and over 18,000 pages of documentation to assist our clients. We have staff in three locations in the United States and are registered to do business in 10 states.
