| For the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), we have performed over thirty (30) full-scale procurement assessments of rapid transit agencies across the United States. We continue to perform assessments under our new contract with the FTA. | |
|
For the Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Administration (MRDDA), we assessed the procurement organization, its staffing, systems, practices and procedures. We recommended actions to improve efficacy and prepare for growth. We monitored funding availability, scheduling and delivery issues, tracking of outstanding contracts and obligations, and knowledge of and compliance with regulations. Specifically, we developed policy documents and process maps of procedures to be followed. |
Calyptus has worked with clients to transition from decentralized to centralized operations, shifting from individual to team-based organizations, implementing strategic and tactical tasks, and the creation of new measures and accountabilities for various divisions and business units. Our consultants serve as project team leaders, overseeing program design, implementation and change processes.
We use the following nine-phase methodology to provide services to help manage the change process and improve organizational performance:
Conduct organizational assessment and staff interviews
Identify opportunities and areas for improvement for change management
Assess capability to work as a team
Develop vision and strategies, and a renewed sense of organization
Define channels of communication among staff
Establish systems and structures to eliminate obstacles and empower the work force
Generate short-term wins, generating improvement in organizational performance
Consolidate gains and set forth plans for longer term improvement
Anchor new approaches in policies and procedures and develop means for sustaining improvements
This approach will assess, evaluate and improve the organizational performance. This includes providing the opportunity for all members of the group to participate in the process, and together build a coalition for improved work life. By involving all staff, this approach will ensure that the causes of recognized stress, insecurity, distrust, anger and hostility can be surfaced and managed.
For a current
change management project, we developed the key elements of change for
process improvement. These elements are portrayed below:

Pricing assumptions include: travel and living, travel time, G&A markup on
