WORK PERFORMED

Performed a number of projects relating to the evaluation of commercial activities, the use of specific tools required by Circular A-76, the submission of data required by the Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act (FAIR), the use of cost development and analysis tools, and the management of A-76 public/ private competitions. We also evaluated the use on effective A-76 processes by the DOD in the study performed in conjunction with the TRAC Act evaluation.

Developed and conducted a results-based survey of internal customers to assist in the achievement of the supply chain management mission. Led a facilitated effort to develop a divisional mission statement, objectives, and metrics for a five-year plan.

Currently assessing the procurement organization, its staffing, systems, practices and procedures. Recommending actions to improve efficacy and prepare for growth. Monitoring of funding availability, scheduling and delivery issues, tracking of outstanding contracts and obligations, and knowledge of and compliance with regulations.

WORK PERFORMED

Assessed the quality of the transportation department's procurement system. We developed forty-four specific recommendations for improvement that were implemented by the State to meet critical service requirements.
